The Summit 2Ba-221 Mic/Line Preamp is a great sounding mic preamp that combines a tube and solid state circuit to create a wide variety of sounds from tube saturation to a very clean and pristine sound.

I use it on a variety of recording sessions for a fat or clean sound depending on the style of music.

The smooth Summit compression character is a great enhancement for my bass sound and very easy to use.

I use it in line with the Summit 2BA-221 mic pre as a signal chain. It’s very portable and the combination creates a very powerful signal chain that I can take to many studios.
